They say dogs can smell fear...

...which leads me to believe a lot of people must have fear coming out of their butts. Quote from Mark at the Shoebox Blog. It made me laugh out loud.

Counselor Troi is either on Riker's right off panel or getting a box of Junior Mints from concessions. [Warning: Major ST:NG geekery on display] They visited this movie theater during the third season as evidenced by the uniforms, Dr. Crusher's hair style, and Worf's ridges and hairstyle. They also carried the Type One phasers into the theater. I wonder how the vibrate setting works on a phaser? Does the phaser vibrate or the person receiving the blast? Picard uses his captain's prerogative to use both arm rests. Data cannot feel irritation but Geordi seems a bit annoyed.

Slither a UU, perhaps?

Garfield minus Garfield is a funny blog featuring Garfield comic strips with Garfield and his dialogue removed. The removal of Garfield sometimes makes a funnier strip or a sadder one. For this particular strip Garfield's thought balloons should remain.

Mary Worth and Me recaps the simple actions and small words that led to this couple getting together. Summary: Mary Worth is a home wrecker. Mary Worth is a Dark Lord of the Sith and has chosen Toby as her apprentice.

Nice to see the pool make a brief appearance at the pool party. The toy bunny has more life and soul in it than the people and it scares me.

Zippy, you are in none of those strips. Your surroundings are too well drawn.

Mary Worth-lessness: Day 15

I have to agree, pulling a stuffed rabbit out of a hat is more impressive. Talking is a pretty cool non-doggie trick, too. If Loki talked he would spend a lot of time in a corner for lying. If Walter comes home before I do, he usually feeds the dog. Then, I come home and the dog is excited and I ask if the dog has been fed. Walter will say yes but Loki will stand at the door leading to the garage and try to work the handle. The food is kept in the garage.

Last night, Loki faced a dilemma - eat or greet. Walter put food in the bowl and then let Loki in. Loki saw the food and was about to eat but then he saw me and he paced back and forth between his bowl and me. Loki rubbed is head against my leg then went to his food bowl to eat. I barely won the eat or greet contest.

Why would Garfield worry about pigeons? Is he outdoors? Some indication of the setting would help.
Vera's purse matches the decor. Who knew one could purchase a purse to match 1940's government office. Is Santa Royale built on fast moving tectonic plates? That might explain the shifting backgrounds. Maybe Joe Giella just doesn't care. Day 15 of the Mary Worth-less Mary Worth comics.
I think the Prime Minister you're referring to is Neville Chamberlain.

Finding meaning

Wow. Mort Walker must be reading the Comics Curmudgeon. There have been comments implying a relationship between Sarge and Beetle beyond professional. A relationship violating several army rules. Mort Walker acknowledges that we are reading a lot into it.

Maybe Jim Davis has gotten out of his slump or has hired a new writer. I found this amusing because I own a dog with a huge tongue.

Yesterday, I discovered an alternative to mace. I ate some pork sausage and a bit of grease squirted on my shirt. I let the dogs back in the house after I ate. Loki smelled the bit of grease and he would not stay away from me. He leaned on me, barked at me when I stopped petting him, followed me very closely and tried to get in my lap. I took off the shirt and Loki grabbed it. He obeyed I told him to let go. After I changed shirts, Loki returned to his normal self.

Next time I take Loki for a walk I will carry a spray bottle of pork sausage grease. Spray that on a potential threat instead of mace. I don't think Loki would eat someone slathered in pork grease but he would pin them down while he licked the grease off.

Your caricature stinks when you have to put a label on it.

Can never go wrong with a fart joke. I know people who find happiness in being offended. They don't realize that offense is their source of happiness but if they were not offended by something then their conversations would be very short and their lives would have less meaning. My better self feels pity for them but my usual self finds them really annoying. My evil self wants to give them something to really be offended about in the hopes that they would remove themselves from my life or at least talk about something else in my presence or try to find another source of meaning.
