Watching a drawing of paint dry

Reading Mary Worth is like watching a drawing of someone watching paint dry.

Is Toby visually impaired or is she one of those has to touch everything? I bet she touches the screen when she points out something on a monitor.

King Features wonders why they cannot retain anyone in the sales department.

The sales person that the boss at King Features hates gets Mary Worth and the one he/she likes gets Pardon My Planet.

Moses is one exceptionally well dressed kid.

Kinky Pants Suit

I read the line in the fourth panel as, "...Mary Worth's kinky pants suits..." I thought, no wonder Dr. Jeff and Mary has not had sex yet, Mark Trail stole her kinky pants suit and Jeff can't get turned on unless Mary wears it.

Then I reread the panel. Oh, kicky.

I need to get my eyes checked, the online comics need to be bigger and I need to get my mind out of the gutter.
Guy in red sweatshirt, the Vulcan nerve pinch does not work on Mary Worth. Give up now and follow your brother to the parking lot. Orange jacket wants to take it to the parking lot, not for a fight but to get the hell away from Mary before she opens her Sam's Wholesale Club sized can of meddle all over their ass. The guys names are Rich and Ron but I forget who is who and I don't care that much to look it up.
I would do the same thing if I did not have the tendency to keep a death grip on whatever stable object I could find while riding on a motorcycle. It has been over 20 years since I rode on a motorcycle. I would enjoy the sight of a bubble blowing Harley rider.
Unfortunately, no college offers getting paychecks as a major.

Fannie Mae --- snicker

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who giggles at the mention of "Fannie Mae".

More information about empathy can be found on the Internet.

Mary Worth has love but not enough to spring for the good dog food. This labor of love hurting your back! That is only the 10, maybe 15 pound bag of crappy store brand dog food! Aldo would have gladly helped you with the groceries but you killed him. Karmic payback, bitch! I hope Chester's rightful owners are found soon before he suffers the effects of that cheap-ass economy dog food. C'mon, Mary you have the money to give Chester better food. Maybe Mary is being kind by feeding Chester crappy economy dog food. The human food in Mary Worth, as drawn by Giella, does not appear very edible.

and speaking of the pompatus of love.

Vera Shields, Jedi Master

Vera attempts to use her Jedi powers on Mary Worth. This irritates the geriatric dark lord of the Sith. She will have to teach Vera a lesson about the power of the dark side of the Force.

What has she got under that desk?
Besides, a true Trek geek would have listed Klingon as a second language. There's an institute and translations of several books.

It's funny in a surreal sense but this is Heathcliff. So what's the gag?

Ga Ud Endeligt Nedsla!

I did not update my cartoon last night because of a thunder storm and I was a bit tired from doing speed work last night. In lieu of my cartoon here are some other people's cartoons.

Rhymes with Orange gives us a slightly surrealistic pun. The older generation is familiar with nose rings just not used to seeing them on Americans.

The artist has captured the essence of cat.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who enjoys the calming influence of Danish thrash metal. When I layed out the orders of service for my church I listened to Scandinavian death metal.

I can feel the love that Giella put into rendering those bits of hair in Wilbur's comb over. Dawn is withholding information because Wilbur and others at Charterstone will stage an intervention and suck all the life and happiness out of her.

Holy crap! Those are big flys.
Another slightly surrealistic pun.

Death Takes a Holiday

and appears in the Monday comics.

Frank and Ernest brings us a painful pun (as if there are any other kinds):

B.C. is improving under the new artist, who signs as Mason:

Off the Mark has fun with cartoon conventions:

Finally, thanks to a glitch in my Comics page at Chron.com I saw this disturbing image on 4 of my comics pages:

It is Edda's mouth that bothers me.

Comics disturbing and amusing.

The tree and little man is not the disturbing part, it is the glasses. Who bathes while wearing their glasses?

Funny gag with obscure reference. I like those, especially when I understand the reference.
