Phishing for a climax
Phishing! Blatant phishing with misspellings.
Ergonomics experts scream as they look at Toby sitting in front of her computer.
Some brilliant person has some inside information from the Mary Worth Compound. The day before Enormoushop.com was mentioned someone bought the domain and built a website. Yesterday links referring to phishing and spam were added.

Koala Balls
I so want this to end in a bloody peeler massacre. That would lift my spirits. Several pools of blood to add color to a gray day. Maybe it's hormonal but the last panel fills me with rage. The undrawn 6th panel contains the words: try pulling your head out of your very large ass and looking in the fucking drawer where we keep the utensils, you small dicked destroyer of the English language!
Mary Worthless Mary Worth: Day 22. The meeting set up took 3 days and this conversation has been happening over the course of 19 days. 19 days! I would walk into a wall or stare catatonically at window framing like the background people in panel two if I had to endure this conversation for 19 days. I did endure this conversation for 19 days but unlike the background people I can leave. And the walls in my world usually stay put.
A Plugger of indeterminate gender. I can get two cups from one bag.
For someone who was heavily recruited in high school and given a full basketball scholarship at Havens University, Dave sure is a lousy basketball player. I wonder if that causes a bit of resentment among the members of the student body who are more well rounded basketball players and were not given scholarships or a spot on the team? I like Bill Holbrook's comics but there is no way that a player with all of Dave's liabilities (several have been pointed out in the course of the comic) could ever make it on to a collegiate basketball team much less receive any kind of scholarship support in the real world.
Secret Asian Man is a fairly new comic that I've been reading for a few months. I like the art but the writing leaves me a bit lukewarm. The central theme so far is, being Asian in America is tough. I'm not denying that Asian people face difficulties but this guy has shot the horse, beaten the dead horse, resurrected the horse with arcane magic and is beating it to death again. The above comic is a rare departure from the being Asian in America is tough theme. What I found amusing is that a such a wonderful store would carry a product called Koala Balls. What locale produces Koala Balls? How does one ship Koala Balls without using a lot of energy? What are the opinions of the now ball-less Koalas regarding the business practices of Organicopia? Did these balls come from free-range Koalas or factory farmed Koalas?
Yes, I have the sense of humor of a 10 year old child.

Humor Gene
Tony Carillo is good. He has, what Scott Adams describes as the humor gene. His humor gene is highly developed. His and Mark Parisi's (Off the Mark).
I wonder what thought process leads to a clock so broken that it is right only once a day? Looking at it now, it seems like such an obvious gag. A bit of low hanging fruit. But no one else has thought of it. Or at least no one else thought to draw it or write it.
A more humor impaired type would say maybe the clock is one of those military type 24 hour clocks and therefore would only be right once a day. If you recognize yourself in the previous sentence, next time that you have a similar thought after someone shares a joke or gag with you, please keep the thought to yourself. It really sucks the life out of comedy. I've had experiences with such people (mostly in progressive circles) and they were awkward and unpleasant. Sometimes it is okay just to laugh at the joke and not think about it too much and then move on.
I wonder if the gags come easily to Carillo or does it take a bit of work? Sort of in the way that most of us are capable of running but it is harder for some than others.
I did think of a second nerdy "Yo Mama" joke. The contest is still open if someone comes up with something funnier. No, I won't share mine until the comic is posted or someone has something funnier.

Parrot refuses to leave man's head
A Stockholm, Sweden, man was forced to get veterinary assistance when a mysterious parrot took up a position on his head and refused to budge. Catharina Nordin of Stockholm Police said the bird "came out of nowhere" Monday and attached itself to the head of the man, whose name was not released, The Local reported Tuesday. The man and his wife sought assistance from the local animal hospital after their own attempts at removing the bird from the man's head failed. It was unknown Tuesday whether the incident caused any injuries to the man or the bird.

Simpsonized!
Get yourself Simpsonized
A credible likeness. I don't normally wear a choker but added one for fun.

A Short Story
Once upon a time, in The Philippines, lived a boy who loved to dance and to teach others to dance. He dreamed of becoming a great choreographer but his parents would not allow it.
His father told him, "I am a warden of a prison, my father was a prison warden and so was his father and his father. You will become a prison warden, too."
This made the boy sad but he obeyed his father and pursued a degree in criminal justice and put aside his dreams of becoming a choreographer.
Eventually, the boy, now a man, received his own prison to serve as warden but the yearning to do choreography remained strong.
One day while over looking the prison yard and seeing all the prisoners just milling about, the man got an idea. "All these men have to obey me because I am the warden. Why not make them do dances that I choreograph?", thought the warden.
He could use the power of dance to help his prisoners reform. He fulfilled his dream of being a choreographer and pleased the president by being the best prison warden in the country because all his prisoners were happy and became upright citizens when they left the prison.
This is the only way that this video makes sense.

Woman Sues Porn Star Over Name
Choose your child's name carefully.
HOUSTON - A Houston-area woman filed suit against a porn star, claiming she stole her name, KPRC Local 2 reported Sunday. Lara Madden, 25, is an actress in the porn industry. She is a former Houstonian who has appeared in about a dozen X-rated movies under the stage name "Syvette Wimberly." That's the problem. The real Syvette Wimberly was one of Madden's classmates at Kingwood High School. The women knew each other in the ninth grade. Wimberly does not believe it's a coincidence that her old classmate is now using her name. Wimberly is suing Madden for invasion of privacy and emotional distress. Wimberly is also suing Vivid Entertainment, the porn distributor that produced Madden's videos. She's asking for monetary damages and an injunction to stop Madden from using her name. Wimberly declined to talk on camera. Her attorney said she's already received more publicity than she wanted in the first place.
Kingwood is an affluent suburb northwest of Houston. Syvette Wimberly is a good porn actress name.

Beware Evildoer!

I can see a costumed crime fighter shouting, "Halt, evildoer! or I shall smite you with my BROWN BAG O' JUSTICE!" Imagine the voice of Patrick Warburton (Brock Samson from Venture Brothers) or maybe Charlton Heston. Just for fun shout it to a co-worker with a sense of humor or to your partner while in the bedroom.
I have found that progressive types do not react very well to my attempts at levity. I'll see what happens.
