Running Log

This week ran 18.48 miles, burned 2381.7 calories and weigh 175.3 pounds.

Monday: 3.01 miles in 35:00
Wednesday: 6.02 miles in 1:12:20
Saturday: 8.13 miles in 1:40:41

For anyone doing math, the extra mileage is from 10 - 15 minute warm-up on Tuesday and Thursday.

Next week's training plan:
Monday - 30 minute interval run
Tuesday - weights and calisthenics
Wednesday - Easy 6 mile run @ 12:38
Thursday - weights and calisthenics
Friday - rest
Saturday - Easy 6 mile run @ 12:38

Got a much needed haircut earlier today. It is a good thing not to have hair in my eyes while running in the rain.

The 30 minute interval run:
Done on a treadmill
3 minutes at 4.4 mph
3 minutes at 5.4 mph
3 minutes at 6.4 mph
then back down to 4.4 mph and start again

I start out faster each week. Next week I'll start at 4.5 mph.

It's quick and intense.
