Too bad it took the death of William F. Buckley to remind people that conservative did not always equal raging asshole.

Colbert had the editor of the National Review - who wrote a biography of William F Buckley - on his show just a day or two after Buckley died. It was amusing, of course. Colbert asked similar questions as in the toon.
